Michelle Obama and her eldest daughter Malia were spotted vacationing in Miami on Saturday. The two were seen walking along Miami Beach in bikinis surrounded by friends – including former Obama administration senior adviser Valerie Jarrett – and Secret Service personnel.
Michelle, 53, looked sensational in a white bikini matched with a sheer white blouse topped over white denim shorts. The former first lady wore a patterned indigo blue bandanna over her hair, classic gold hoop earrings and a pair of black shades with golden details. She walked barefoot through the sand holding her shoes and a book.
Michelle was joined by her eldest daughter Malia who is now a freshman at Harvard University. Malia topped her black bikini with a classic brown hoodie, she also wore a pair of gold rimmed shades and a gold thumb ring. Malia was also seen carrying a book along with a pair of headphones.
Both ladies toted their shoes in their hands as they made their way off the beach.
It is a rare occasion to see Michelle Obama on vacation. The former first lady was last seen hosting the Chicago Leadership Summit with her husband former President of The United States, Barack Obama.
Barack Obama and Michelle Obama launched the inaugural Obama Foundation Leadership Summit to bring together high-profile artists, entrepreneurs, world leaders and royalty to meet with hundreds of young up-and-coming leaders.
Among the more than 500 participants that took part in the Obama Foundation’s inaugural two-day leadership summit were Prince Harry, Lin-Manuel Miranda and yogurt magnate and philanthropist Hamdi Ulukaya.
