This holiday season the make up trend to try is the “full coverage eye” eyeshadow trend. It made a sparkling appearance at the Alexis Mabille Spring 2018 show, make up artist Lloyd Simmonds (who also created this look for YSL) swept metallics across the lids from lashes to brow!

At Alexis Mabille, gold was the element du jour, and it carried all the way down on the runway from the eyes to the foiled gold boots.

For the beauty a little silver was swept under the eye and a little copper is pressed on the center of the lid.  Makeup artist Lloyd Simmons finished the look with a sparkly golden pigment swept across the models’ eyelids in a brushstroke pattern.

The rest of the face was left bare. The eyes were only matched in shine-factor by the gold chrome nails.
