If Coco Chanel and Twiggy had a love collection it would look a lot like this. For fall 2017 designer Edward Achour breaks with tradition lending an atypical militant edge to his passively feminine designs.
We absolutely have our favorites.
The Drop Waste
Chanel started a war with her drop waist designs. The loose, flowing cuts completely eliminated any need for constricting whale bone structures and gave women freedom to move about. A scandalous move on her part and one of many counter-culture fashion moments of the 1920s.
Achour’s atypically long silhouettes for fall is a reminder of that freedom from constricting fashion trends.

The Military Jacket
Heavy on form, light on function this military style coat rebels against severe structures thanks to the soft material and flatteringly feminine cut.

The Anti-Uniform
This dress transforms a military uniform design into a feminine chic day dress without sacrificing command.
