Etro’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection combines bold Matisse florals and soft graphics in an art-sy approach to fashion. The mix-and-match style yields elegant, feminine looks including a patchwork silk crepe de chine shirt worn with a flared midi-skirt in lightweight wool.
Flowers abound, interwoven with a signature house paisley on a silk Georgette gown with a plunging V-neck and a sequined grosgrain detail at the waist, and worked into an exquisite intarsia on a cashmere and cotton sweater.
As an antidote to the patterns, a casual but sophisticated, turquoise crepe de chine long-sleeve dress is offered as a casual but sophisticated alternative.
