Orgaz is a chic new restaurant in the affluent Conde Orgaz Park in Madrid. Local architecture firm ZooCo Estudio designed the modest space into a modern eatery with warm interiors and vintage style furnishing. The large windows pour in the region’s rays which spread across the open floor plan. Rigid, rigorous lines in warm timbers are tempered by plush surfaces such as overstuffed leather chairs, and the liberal use of floral and herbal arrangements. It is the perfect location to relax with a chilled glass of white Rioja.

There is summer patio with a retractable glass facade and a pretty – and no doubt painstakingly installed – mosaic floor to keep things cool inside.

Guests can enjoy the neighborhood’s famously Gallic resident chef José Luis Moreno’s deceptively simple plates of Iberian cooking; dishes such as Galician hake and a timbale of oxtail and potatoes.
