The Burberry Prorsum Women’s Spring 2016 collection marched in London’s Kensington Gardens. The catwalk featured a medley of fabrics, waterproof silk, double-face cashmere, washed silk satin, cotton gabardine, English lace, macramé lace, sheared mink, nubuck and mesh with tie-dye prints and tie-dye on silk, as well as artistic decorative techniques of gold Swarovski crystals hand-embroidered with polka dots in groups with metal strings and regimental button closures with metal chains.
A muted color palette of black, white, blue, gold, cream, nude were featured on trench coats, duffel coats, jackets sailor, motorcycle jackets and military, regimental coats, capes, structured shift dresses, and soft kilts.
The beauty helmed by make-up artist Wendy Rowe was developed in partnership with the creative director & Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey. To further the make-up line Burberry recreated the runway beauty looks on their YouTube channel in a tutorial in collaboration with Sephora.
