La Granja Community: A Sustainable Farmstead On The Other Side Of Ibiza.

La Granja is a secluded farmstead tucked 10 hectares inside Ibiza’s pastoral inlands. The centuries-old stone farmhouse converted into a luxury get-away has nine-guestrooms, a freestanding, two-bedroom guesthouse, a pool and kitchen.

La Granja launched in collaboration with Friends of a Farmer, an international association devoted to the cultivation of art, crops, gardening and sustainable culture.

Dreimeta design studio carefully restored the castle-like structure, maintaining it’s weather-worn imperfections, imbuing the location with an aching elegance marked by classical Iberian architecture and traces of Moorish influences.

“The art of imperfect beauty is accepting the natural cycle of growth and decay. Using flawed and scarred materials and surfaces we’ve alluded to the enigma of time passing.” — Armin Fischer, Dreimeta Design Studio

Communal spaces bring like-minded guests together thanks to a program of collective rituals—from communal farming and slow-food workshops to yoga, sunset rituals, meditation, and daily music sets— which fosters an environment of organic togetherness.

Each room is outfit with interiors designed in natural materials including a bed made of burnt wood, tables, stools and flooring in brushed and oiled ash, stone and slate.

La Granja is located in the northwest central part of the island 15 minutes from Ibiza town, 25 minutes from Ibiza airport, and seemingly a century removed from the crowded beaches and main tourist draws of Ibiza.
