Summer Skin Prep: It’s Not Too Soon To Start Winter Skin Repair

Often times we neglect to properly exfoliate over the winter months- buffed, smooth, well exfoliated skin is something most people associate with summer beauty routines. But, with harsh weather conditions comes duller cells. In the colder months, humidity levels drop with the temperature and there is literally less water in the air. And although cell turnover doesn’t actually slow down during the winter months – skin cells do ‘die’ faster as they dehydrate.

AEOS Gentle Exfoliant

Cold, dry air coupled with intermittent bursts of hot, dry air (central heating) sucks the moisture out of cells, leaving skin feeling tight, dull and sometimes flaky resulting in build up that should be managed before the summer.

Never fear, this isn’t a cause for panic.  Very gentle, regular exfoliation over the next few months will most certainly lift away these dead cells at the surface, to reveal the healthy skin underneath.

A great product to try is the AEOS Gentle Exfoliant.  The AEOS Gentle Exfoliate made the finals of the Best Exfoliating Product category in the 2016 Beauty Shortlist Awards this month. Primarily because the product is 100% organic and natural.

The Gentle Exfoliant is a rich cocktail for the skin, infused with nurturing organic oils – jojoba seed, grape seed, argan and avocado – plus AEOS own biodynamic spelt oil bursting with antioxidant, moisturizing and regenerative properties, skin is left touchably-soft and with regular use will have your skin in buff shape for summer.
