The Island House: Nassau’s First Boutique Hotel.

Bahamas native Lauren Holowesko launches Nassau’s first boutique hotel. The small, stylish destination on the tropical island features a mix of Caribbean calm with contemporary design.

Holowesko commissioned Manhattan’s Champalimaud to manage the interiors and décor. The firm outfit the urban location with pieces by Herman Miller, Formstella and Knoll in a pale palette.

The hotel includes a restaurant helmed by a chef from Melbourne hotspot, Chin Chin. The hotel also offers a bespoke running squash court, an Anti Gravity Yoga studio, a pool, a 48-seat art house cinema, and a full spa.

The Island House is set amongst 10-acres of tropical gardens. The location is a short drive to the beach and the Lyford Cay Marina club.
