Caroline Rush CBE, the Chief Executive Officer of the British Fashion Council (BFC), hosted a cocktail reception for London designers Edeline Lee, Eudon Choi, Amy Powney, Roksanda and more with Hong Kong’s biggest executives in the fashion retail and e-retail world. The cocktail reception happened after The Great Festival of Innovation in Hong Kong, an annual gathering of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, educationalists, and futurologists to an audience from the UK, Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Korea and the wider region. The festival was a four day event, it began on March 21st and ended March 24th.
This year the feastival’s concept of “borderless cities” included innovation discussions around smart cities, automated work (AI), virtual education, and mobile shopping and entertainment. BFC attended and closed festival events with an intimate gathering at the the Potato Head restaurant on 3rd street in Sai Ying Pun last Friday. The curated guest list read like the ‘whose who’ of Hong Kong’s retail and e-retail world mixed with some of London’s top emerging designers.
