Beauty: Kenzo’s first feminine fragrance

Kenzo Parfums has unveiled Kenzo World, the first feminine fragrance conceived by Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. The energetic trail of Kenzo World features floral bursts with notes of peony, Egyptian jasmine and Ambroxan®. The bursting energy of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the two young self-taught Americans, made co-creative directors of Kenzo in 2011, is the inspiration of the new scent.

The  star designers quickly connected with the core identity of the house founded by Kenzo Takada in 1970, energizing it with fresh creativity, including the brands recognizable motifs.

The parfums iconic eye motif speaks directly to the identity of the house founded by Kenzo Takada.

“We loved the interpretation of the eye really informing your world,” says Carol Lim. “Now this iconic eye symbol marks the new boldly feminine fragrance of the house, Kenzo World.”

Designed by Patrick Li, the bottle features black rubber, pink gold and opaline, recalling the mix-and-match of colors and materials that inspire the designers and their collections. The stylized eye is an invitation to experience Kenzo World, a world to be explored right from the name printed in Braille on top of the box.

The advertising spot directed by Spike Jonze has gone viral. The fashion video is a mixture of choreography and performance, it follows Margaret Qualley on a frenetic and elegant escapade imagined by multi-awarded choreographer Ryan Heffington.
