The Ermanno Scervino fall/ winter 2019-20 catwalk show operated like an expert style guide on everything concerning men’s and women’s fashion, from patterns and cuts for daytime office wear and weekend wear, to key pieces and trends for formal and evening attire.  The prescriptive runway considered everything from pant and cuff lengths to shoes and accessories tips.

Knitwear patterns for office wear included heritage pinstripe, Prince of Wales, and hounds-tooth. Jewel studs on jackets and slip dresses in lace and glitter appliqués broke the no-daytime-glitter rule on day wear.

The bright collection could only be described as unisex glamour. Sparkling sweaters, animal-print jackets, eco-furs, scarves and hats in a general but refined Florentine aesthetic came tailored made for him and her.

The contemporary garments played with both masculine and feminine contrasts, strategically combining each aesthetics’s silhouette and materials, to an easy affect.
