Chloe and Halle released a 10-minute short film to accompany their debut album “The Kids Are Alright”. The film features the Bailey siblings Chloe, 18, Halle, 19, and their friend Ashton Sanders, who rose to fame following his appearance in the 2017 Academy Award-winning drama Moonlight. Beyonce collaborator Kwasi Fordjour (Lemonade) wrote and developed the creative direction for the project. The concept film explores how pressure (of any kind) can turn one into a raw diamond.

Similar to Beyonce’s Lemonade the girls go through a lot of style changes. In one of the most dynamic sequences the girls recite the lyrics to “Fake” as poetry. Through-out the sequence they remain in a sitting position and Chloe’s hands work the locks of Halle’s hair. The chubby fur and patent leather designs worn by the sisters are striking.
