Palm Springs International Film Society uses the power and glamour of old Hollywood to raise money and awareness for new talent in cinema and theatre.  Their main reason for hosting the event is to expand film opportunities to a wider audience and to tell the stories of all people. The organization has been going strong since its inception in 1990.

We believe film as an art form has the power to bridge cultures and illuminate the universality of the human experience.

Many of this year’s recipients are Oscar nominee buzz worthy! Actress Gal Gadot was the biggest star on the red carpet but Grammy-winning recording artist Mary J. Blige was the star of the night. The songstress won an award for her breakthrough performance on Mudbound!
