The House of Holland Spring 2016 features an army of Gonzo girls transfixed by the louche world of Las Vegas in the early 70s. The concept pays homage to the hallucinatory grotesques interiors of the 1998 cult film ‘Fear and Loathing’ seen through the eyes and altered mind of novelist Hunter S. Thompson.
The Psychedelic collection is a melting pot of textures and colors. Two-tone jacquard, patchwork leathers, suede and hair-calf outerwear, and tropical safari print in textured bark cloth and embellished “fly net” mesh lace are mixed together to form an eccentric styling display.
And a technology first: House of Holland partners with Visa Europe Collab to integrate payments into the catwalk showcase and offer a glimpse into what the future of fashion retail may hold.
